2 Day Training Course

This course is designed for persons that have  experience in the use of forklift operation but hold no formal qualification. The course will provide delegates with training in how to carry out pre-use checks and in the safe and efficient operation of a forklift truck in the workplace. Experienced operators have some previous experience and will be familiar with the articulation and operating characteristics of a fork truck but will not have had the benefit of adequate, formal training in basic operating skills.

Delegates undergo both a practical assessment as well as a theory exam, giving businesses the reassurance that their staff have received and understood their tuition in Forklift Operation.

It is estimated that each year 10% of all investigated accidents involving lift trucks are caused largely due to the lack of operator training, resulting in injury to operators and to those around them (Health and Safety Executive (HSE) figures).

Our instructors are RTITB accredited and undergo continuous evaluation to maintain the highest level of training possible.
