Novice
This course is designed for persons with no knowledge of Fork Lift Truck operation whatsoever. It provides the candidate with the essential knowledge necessary for the safe operation of the truck and teaches vehicle sympathy as a vital part of the job. You must be over the minimum school leaving age (16+), have a reasonable degree of physical fitness and be able to satisfy the guidelines set out in 'HSG6 Safety' in Working with Lift Trucks.

Experienced
This course is designed for persons that have experience in the use of forklift operation but hold no formal qualification. The course will provide delegates with training in how to carry out pre-use checks and in the safe and efficient operation of a forklift truck in the workplace. Experienced operator will have some previous experience and will be familiar with the articulation and operating characteristics of a fork truck but will not have had the benefit of adequate, formal training in basic operating skills.

Refresher
This course is designed for persons that currently hold a certificate in forklift operation that requires renewal. The course will provide delegates with refresher training in how to carry out pre-use checks and in the safe and efficient operation of a forklift truck in the workplace. Proof of relevant certification will be required on booking this course.
