½ Day COSHH Training Course

There are many substances either used or produced during work activities which have the potential to be a source of injury or ill health to workers as defined by the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health regulations 2002.

Those who may be exposed to these hazards, along with their supervisors and managers, must be trained in the assessment of the risks the hazards present, along with adequate methods for their controlled use, handling transportation and storage.

Many people tasked with COSHH assessments are unsure what is required or where to get information. Once the initial assessment is complete, they are often uncertain on how to approach control, and how to judge when control is adequate. This COSHH training course aims to provide that knowledge and those skills.

Who should attend?

Managers, safety officers, employees who may be exposed to hazardous substances.
